Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network in Kentucky is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide to support the foodservice department. You will prepare, set, and serve meals, deliver patient trays, stock supplies, operate the POS system, and assist with tray assembly and cleaning while ensuring proper temperatures, portion sizes and patient safety.

SCHEDULE: Required to work every other weekend and holiday. On‑the‑job training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• On‑the‑job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, sets, and serves all food as directed ensuring proper temperatures and portion sizes.
• Performs minor food preparation and portioning per policy.
• Delivers trays to patients following facility procedures.
• Uses two patient identifiers to ensure safety.
• Returns trays for cleaning and storage and maintains food quality.
