Riverside Health System is seeking a Spiritual Counselor for its Gloucester location. The role provides emotional and spiritual support to patients and families as part of the hospice interdisciplinary team, aligning with RHS mission and philosophy.

The position emphasizes collaborative care, timely assessment after admission, and maintaining up-to-date clinical documentation, with opportunities to work with local clergy and support diverse beliefs. Weekend shifts and call rotation may apply.

Formación

• Master's degree in Pastoral Care or Theological Studies is required.
• 1 year related hospice experience preferred.
• ACPE Educator Certification is preferred.
• Board Certified Chaplain is preferred.
• ACPE unit required upon hire.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Drives personal vehicle for RHS business 25%+ of the time.

Responsabilidades

• Provide emotional and spiritual support to patients, families, and caregivers as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Document counseling in the patient’s clinical record per RHS standards.
• Develop and update the plan of care in collaboration with the team and local clergy when desired.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient needs and communicate with the physician and team.
