Job summary

Intermountain Health’s hospice team is hiring a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver holistic, patient-centered care in the home setting for individuals facing end-of-life care. You will assess needs, develop plans, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

You will work PRN with 10-hour shifts (9:00 AM–7:30 PM) and rotating call on weekends, serving the Denver Metro area.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Current driver’s license with insured and reliable transportation.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• BSN required as of 4/27/2025; employees hired or promoted before that date will be held to previous requirements.
• RNs with less than 12 months of RN experience must obtain BSN within 4 years of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Utilize the nursing process with advanced technology, therapies, and evidence-based practices.
• Coordinate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver holistic, patient-centered hospice care.
• Provide guidance and emotional support to patients and their families during end-of-life care.
