Job summary

Mountain Valley Hospice is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team, delivering compassionate end-of-life care to patients in homes, SNFs, and ALFs in the Mt Airy/Dobson service area.

This full-time RN role involves 3-12 hour shifts (10a-10p) across multiple sites, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support patients and families with empathy, symptom management, and education.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse License.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing and supportive care to terminally ill patients with empathy and professionalism.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and guide CNAs in delivering care.
• Monitor and document changes in patient conditions and communicate with the care team.
