Job summary

CorsoCare Hospice in Grand Rapids area seeks a Registered Nurse to provide expert nursing care to terminally ill patients in home-based settings. The RN collaborates with the Hospice team and supports families during bereavement, delivering compassionate care and coordination with IDG members.

The role requires nursing licensure in Michigan, a proven clinical background, and the ability to travel between care sites with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Currently licensed as a registered nurse to practice in the state.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered nurse, preferred.
• Active patient contact within past three years, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regularly assesses and reassesses the nursing needs of Hospice patients.
• Provides Hospice nursing services, treatments and preventive procedures.
• Teaches, supervises and counsels patient and family on care.
• Supervises and trains nursing staff and coordinates plan of care.
