Job summary

VitalCaring is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse to lead patient-centered, comfort-focused care in field-based settings. You will guide care plans, manage symptoms, and advocate for patients and families with clinical excellence.

You’ll coordinate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and aides to ensure compassionate, dignified end‑of‑life care and strong family support. Minimum 1 year of nursing experience and an active RN license required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (or compact eligibility).
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Strong clinical judgment and compassionate care approach.
• Basic EMR proficiency and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead the plan of care and manage symptoms.
• Coordinate care across the interdisciplinary team.
• Deliver skilled nursing care focused on comfort and quality of life.
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the journey.
• Document accurately and participate in care planning meetings.
