Job summary

Envision Hospice in Washington state seeks a dedicated Hospice Registered Nurse to provide compassionate end-of-life care across Thurston County, including private homes, adult family homes, assisted living communities, and skilled nursing facilities.

You will assess patient needs, manage symptoms, educate families, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure care aligns with goals and values. This full-time role offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current WA RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification is required.
• Proficient with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments and develop care plans for hospice patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and the interdisciplinary team to implement care plans.
• Administer medications and interventions to manage pain and symptoms.
• Educate patients and families on hospice philosophy, disease progression, and end-of-life expectations.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families and document care in the EMR.
