Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-hours hospice nursing assessments, triage, and interventions.
• Respond to patient and caregiver calls to assess symptoms and educate on care.
• Conduct in-person visits to manage acute symptom changes and ensure comfort.
• Manage end-of-life symptoms with appropriate interventions.
• Initiate physician orders and hospice protocols within scope.
• Offer emotional support and education to patients and caregivers.
