Lighthouse Hospice Care in Downers Grove, IL seeks a compassionate Massage Therapist to provide medically prescribed massage in patients' homes or agency facilities. You will support end-of-life comfort and manage pain within a respectful, safe environment.

Applicants must be licensed massage therapists in good standing, with MBEx/FSMTB/NCBTMB certification and at least one year of clinical experience; hospice or home health preferred.

Qualificações

• Currently licensed massage therapist in the state and in good standing.
• Certification by MBEx or FSMTB or NCBTMB.
• Minimum of one year clinical experience; home health or hospice preferred.
• Read, write, and comprehend English.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and treat patients under IDG direction to determine the best massage plan.
• Manually manipulate muscles and soft tissues to relieve pain and stress.
• Maintain calm, soothing environment during treatment and document patient responses.
• Document accurate patient information in medical records in a timely manner.
• Assist patients and families; coordinate with community resources and other disciplines.
• Communicate effectively with hospice personnel and participate in ongoing care discussions.
• Engage in hospice and community health activities to promote understanding of hospice philosophy.
