Job summary

Lighthouse Hospice Care LLC is seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to deliver medically prescribed massage therapy in patient homes or facilities, ensuring a caring, safe environment and comfort during end-of-life care.

The role requires current state licensure, MB LEx/FSMTB/NCBTMB certification, and at least one year of clinical experience, preferably in hospice or home health. Strong English communication and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• Current license/certification in good standing with the state board.
• MBLEx or FSMTB or NCBTMB certification.
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience; home health or hospice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient with the IDG to determine the best treatment plan.
• Manually manipulate muscles and soft tissues to relieve pain.
• Maintain a calm, soothing environment during treatment.
• Document patient information promptly in the medical record.
• Assist patients and families, coordinating resources for care.
• Communicate with hospice staff and participate in meetings as needed.
• Participate in hospice education and community health programs.
