Job summary

AccentCare in Loveland, CO is seeking caregivers to follow interdisciplinary care plans and deliver personal care including bathing, grooming, and oral hygiene. You will assist with mobility and activities of daily living, and support patient comfort and safety under RN supervision.

The role requires compassionate, attentive care, documentation, and adherence to policies. The position offers an hourly wage with potential for growth and ongoing training in a diverse, patient-centered team

Qualifications

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Adhere to interdisciplinary care plans and policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Follow the interdisciplinary plan of care, be alert to the patient's needs and concerns.
• Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, hair, nail, skin and foot care and oral hygiene.
• Assist patients, according to the plan of care in: Turning, Sitting, Standing.
• Ambulation with elimination, including facilitation of bedpans and urinals, assisting patient to the bathroom, routine Foley care, enemas, meals, when necessary
• Perform simple procedures as an extension of therapeutic services, in accordance with the interdisciplinary plan of care
• Observe and report changes in the patient's condition and needs to the Team Director (TD) or Registered Nurse (RN)
• May perform simple homemaking chores for the patient directly, meal preparation, and/or light housekeeping in the patient's immediate area
• Complete required documentation per policy
• Participate in continuing education programs
• Follow confidentiality regarding patients and families per policy
• Demonstrate a compassionate attitude toward patients and families consistent with the philosophy and mission of the organization
• Attend patient care conferences as requested by the TD
• Perform other related duties and special projects, as assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned including those within the scope of current, valid professional licensure/credentials
