Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying patient needs under RN supervision
• Plan and implement care in collaboration with the RN
• Apply infection control concepts and standard precautions while caring for patients
• Ensure continuity of care through delivery of quality patient care
• Communicate effectively with patient/family and health care team
• Document clinical and progress notes, outcomes of interventions
• Assess patient/family response to care and share information with the team
