Job summary

VitalCaring is seeking a Hospice Aide/CNA to provide compassionate, in-home end-of-life care, bringing dignity and comfort to patients and families. You will work within a team alongside RNs, social workers, chaplains, and leadership, delivering hands-on support in the home.

Responsibilities include daily living assistance, vital sign observation, documentation, and adherence to hospice philosophy focused on comfort.

Qualifications

• Completion of state-required Hospice Aide/CNA training (CNA certification if required by state).
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Ability to follow care plans, document clearly, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Support comfort through repositioning, mobility assistance, and skin integrity care.
• Provide light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Offer respite support to caregivers and families.
