Job summary

VitalCaring is seeking a Hospice Aide/CNA to provide in-home, end‑of‑life care that centers on comfort, dignity, and family support. This role blends hands‑on care with presence, empathy, and steady, professional communication in patients’ homes.

You will assist with activities of daily living, repositioning, hygiene, feeding, and light housekeeping, while observing changes, taking vital signs, and documenting care plans for RN review.

Qualifications

• Completion of state-required Hospice Aide/CNA training.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to follow care plans, document clearly, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Support comfort through repositioning, mobility assistance, and skin integrity care.
• Provide light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Offer respite support to caregivers and families.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the RN/Case Manager.
• Assist with vital signs and basic care tasks as directed.
