Job summary

VitalCaring is a home health and hospice provider seeking a Hospice Aide / CNA to bring comfort, dignity, and compassion to patients and families in their homes. You will work with RNs, social workers, and leadership to deliver compassionate end-of-life care with a patient-first approach.

Qualifications

• Completion of state-required Hospice Aide/CNA training (CNA certification if required by state).
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to follow care plans, document clearly, and communicate effectively.
• Comfort working with end-of-life patients and families.
• Strong empathy, compassion, and emotional intelligence.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between patient homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Support comfort through repositioning, mobility assistance, and skin integrity care.
• Provide light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Offer respite support to caregivers and families.
