Job summary

Anodyne Palliative Services seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home hospice care in the Chicago area. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and document observations in medical records.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and CNA certification; healthcare experience preferred. Strong communication and empathy are essential to support patients and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a CNA program or equivalent training required.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation systems.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance to hospice patients in their homes or facilities.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temp).
• Assist with medication reminders and administration.
• Document patient care activities and observations in medical records.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
