Job summary

Gentiva Hospice is seeking a compassionate Hospice Aide (CNA) to deliver hands-on personal care and emotional support to patients in home, residential facilities, or inpatient units.

The role requires an active CNA license in the state of employment, CPR certification, a valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle, and at least 6 months of direct patient care experience. Prior home health or hospice exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in the state of employment (Required).
• Current CPR certification (Required).
• Driver’s license and reliable vehicle with insurance (Required).
• Six (6) months of direct patient care experience (Required).
• Comfortable working in home settings, hospice facilities, or long-term care environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care to terminally ill patients.
• Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting.
