Job summary

Corus Health in Albuquerque seeks a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide hands-on hospice care at Laguna Rainbow Elder Care Center. You will deliver compassionate support to residents and families, following each patient’s plan of care under licensed nurse supervision.

Ideal candidates hold NM CNA certification, completed Nurse Aide Training, and have strong communication, patience, and reliability. Hospice/home health experience is a plus, with transportation and a valid driver's license

Qualifications

Current Nurse Aide Certification in NM.
Completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide Training program.
At least 1 year of experience preferred; hospice/home health is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care according to each patient’s plan of care under RN supervision.
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, feeding).
Measure and record vital signs (temp, pulse, resp, BP).
Observe changes in condition and report promptly to supervising staff.
Assist with ambulation, transfers, and positioning for comfort and safety.
Maintain accurate EMR documentation of care provided.
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families.
