Job summary

John Knox Village Limited is seeking a dedicated Hospice Aide to provide compassionate personal care to terminally ill patients under the RN Case Manager. You will document care, follow the Plan of Care, and coordinate with the IDT team in a supportive village hospice setting.

The role requires MO CNA certification (KS if applicable), BLS, a valid driver’s license, and 2 years CNA experience with hospice preferred. Competitive schedule and safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Missouri CNA certification required if working in Missouri; Kansas CNA and Home Health Aide certification required if working in Kansas.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to direct patient contact.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
• Two years recent experience as a CNA; hospice experience preferred.
• CHPNA certification recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to the patient and assist with ADLs under RN guidance.
• Follow the Aide Plan of Care and document care provided.
• Update the RN Case Manager on changes in patient condition.
• Complete bedside documentation and synchronize daily records.
• Attend staff meetings and required in-services.
• Adhere to Village Hospice standards and safety regulations.
