Job summary

Mission Healthcare, located in seven states, is the largest home health and hospice company in the western United States. We are hiring a Hospice Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA/CNA) for the Greater Riverside/San Bernardino area to provide personal care and support to patients.

Competitive benefits and a supportive culture are offered. Position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with a pay range of $22.00–$25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and the impaired.
• Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
• Current BLS & CPR certification.
• Tact, patience and good personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos, changing bed linen.
• Assisting patients with dressing and undressing.
• Skin care to prevent breakdown.
• Assisting patient with toileting activities.
• Keeping patient’s living area clean and orderly.
• Assisting patient in the self-administration of medication.
