Job summary

Mission Healthcare is seeking a Hospice Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA/CNA) to join our compassionate team in California. This full-time role offers daytime hours, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with a pay range of $23.00-$27.00 hourly and benefits designed to support your well-being.

You will provide personal care, assist with activities of daily living, maintain patient safety, and document care procedures in line with our standards, while upholding our CARES values in patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Self-directed with ability to work with little supervision.
• Empathy for the needs of the ill, frail and the impaired.
• Current BLS & CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos, changing bed linen.
• Assisting patients with dressing and undressing.
• Skin care to prevent breakdown.
• Assisting the patient with toileting activities.
• Keeping patient’s living area clean and orderly, as appropriate.
• Assisting patient in the self-administration of medication.
• Adhering to the Organization's documentation and care procedures and standards of personal and professional conduct.
• Must meet position productivity expectations as determined based on business need.
