Qualifications

• In good standing with denomination or religious affiliation.
• Experience in a spiritual or religious organization; chaplain in health care setting preferred.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual care in the home to terminally ill patients and their families.
• Assess the patient’s and family’s spiritual needs and provide counseling.
• Facilitate visits by local clergy, pastoral counselors, or other supporters for spiritual needs.
• Participate as a core member of the Interdisciplinary Group/Team (IDG/IDT).
