Job summary

VIA Health Partners in Chestnut Hills, SC seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support palliative and home health services. You will initiate contact with patients and families, schedule NP visits, and maintain accurate medical records, ensuring timely communication across care teams.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required and in good standing with AAMA.
• Minimum 1 year of experience; homecare or geriatrics preferred.
• High school diploma preferred; related certifications welcome.
• Strong communication and scheduling abilities essential.

Responsibilities

• Initiates contact with patients and families to discuss services and answers questions.
• Obtains verbal consent to schedule NP visits and coordinates weekly NP schedules.
• Maintains medical records and processes attachments per VIA guidelines.
• Supports branch operations and ensures timely communication with patients and staff.
• Attends IDG conferences and collaborates with care team members.
