Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in theology or related field with counseling focus.
• Experience in hospice spiritual care and bereavement support preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with an interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Provides spiritual support and counseling to clients and caregivers in line with beliefs.
• Performs initial spiritual assessments and develops goal-directed care plans.
• Reassesses spiritual needs and coordinates chaplaincy services with the team.
• Arranges sacraments and connects clients with clergy as requested.
• Develops bereavement follow-up and supports group and family counseling.
• Educates staff and volunteers on spiritual care, grief, and bereavement.
