Job summary

AccentCare is seeking a Hospice Aide / CNA in Largo, MD. This full-time day position offers a competitive hourly rate and a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00am–5:00pm).

The role involves providing compassionate, hands-on care to hospice patients in home or facility settings, with responsibilities including hygiene, mobility support, and end-of-life care. Candidates must be state-certified CNAs with CPR and a valid driver’s license for home visits.

Qualifications

• State-certified nurse's aide with required training and passing score on agency exam.
• CPR certification required for direct patient care in specified states.
• Must be listed on state aide registry and eligible to provide care in homes or facilities.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and state-required auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to hospice patients, including personal hygiene and mobility support (up to 200 lbs with assistance).
• Assist patients in homes or care facilities through movement and daily living activities while ensuring safety and dignity.
• Monitor comfort levels and respond to needs, maintaining infection control and safety protocols.
