Job summary

CorsoCare Hospice is seeking a Hospice Aide in Ohio to join the health services team. You will assist patients in the home, follow care plans under supervision, and support the clinical staff with daily tasks and patient comfort.

Ideal candidates are STNA certified in Ohio, have at least 1 year of hospice or home care experience, possess a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation, and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Certified as an STNA in Ohio is required.
• Minimum 1 year hospice aide experience in health care or home care.
• CPR certification preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication, teamwork and adaptability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a clean, healthful, and safe environment.
• Assist with ambulation and safe transfer techniques.
• Provide nourishment and fluids as needed, including meals and hydration.
• Read and record temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Maintain infection control procedures and follow the care plan.
• Provide emotional support and build trust with patient and family.
• Coordinate with Clinical Manager and RN/Case Manager for visits.
