Job summary

CorsoCare Hospice in Brunswick, OH, seeks a dedicated Hospice Aide for a full-time schedule (Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm). You will provide personal care in patients' homes under RN/Case Manager supervision, with emphasis on safety, compassion, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Currently certified as an STNA in Ohio.
• Minimum of 1 year Hospice Aide experience in health care or home care.
• CPR certification preferred, but not required.
• Current driver’s license with valid auto insurance and reliable transportation.

• Able to meet the physical demands of patient care and transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a clean, healthful, safe environment.
• Assist the patient with ambulation and proper transfer techniques.
• Assist with nourishment and fluids including meals and hydration.
• Read and record temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Maintain basic infection control procedures.
• Gives emotional and psychological support to patient and family.
