Job summary

Stillwater Hospice in Helena, Montana is seeking a Hospice Aide/CNA to join a dedicated team. The role reports to the Clinical Supervisor or Case Manager and supports patients in their homes with compassionate care, under RN supervision.

Pay rate is $18–$22 hourly with benefits including health insurance, PTO, and a 401(k) with 100% match up to 4% and no vesting period. Flexible schedule and ongoing development through Stillwater University are available.

• Good oral and written communications.
• Good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care tasks as assigned and report to Case Manager.
• Provide patient and family with respectful communication and confidentiality.
• Ensure safety and use equipment properly (e.g., foot stools, side rails, O2).
• Assist with bathing, dressing, meals, feeding, and changing bed linens.
• Monitor skin, report issues, and assist with mobility and transfers as directed.
• Assist with medications reminders as allowed by state regulations.
• Assist with bedpans/urinals and light laundry.
• Document observations and care performed per procedures.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and follow hospice philosophy.
