Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Current registration with the Virginia State Board of Examiners of Nurses as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Licensed driver with an insured vehicle in good working order.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care and assists with daily activities as indicated in the Plan of Care.
• Measures and records vital signs when ordered within aide training limits.
• Provides observation of skin and reports changes to supervising nurse.
• Assists with meals, dressing, bathing, and mobility as instructed.
• Maintains patient living area in a clean, safe condition and assists with light laundry.
