Job summary

Affinity Hospice is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide essential personal care to patients in their homes throughout Virginia. The role operates under RN supervision with a focus on comfort and observation, and requires flexible scheduling including weekends.

Responsibilities include baths, grooming, feeding assistance and accurate documentation. Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification.
• Licensed driver with insured vehicle.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist patients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care tasks such as baths, grooming, oral hygiene and linen changes.
• Assist in dressing and feeding patients as assigned.
• Assess and report changes in patient condition to the case manager.
• Document observations and care provided according to procedures.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and care standards at all times.
