Job summary

St. Croix Hospice in Clarinda, IA is seeking a full-time Hospice Aide (CNA) to work under RN supervision providing direct patient care in home settings. You will follow the patient Plan of Care and support daily activities to enhance comfort and dignity.

This role requires active CNA licensure, 18+ years old, and a valid driver’s license. You will maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and coordinate with the RN Case Manager to ensure high-quality care for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Must have an active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of practice.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass background study, consumer report and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, and linen changes.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercises as instructed by nursing staff.
• Support meals, feeding, and light household tasks as assigned.
• Monitor and report patient condition changes to the RN Case Manager.
