Job summary

St. Croix Hospice in Iowa is seeking a dedicated Hospice Aide (CNA) to provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients in their homes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

You will assist with personal care, meal planning, and daily activities, record vital signs, and report observations to the care team; travel to multiple patient homes is required. This full-time role offers 8:00am–5:00pm shifts with rotating weekends and a strong benefits package including health, dental, vision, life

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance.
• Record vital signs and report observations to the care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, skin/nail care, oral hygiene, dressing/undressing.
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed.
• Promote patient comfort, dignity, and safety during home visits.
• Travel to patient homes and provide care as scheduled.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
