Job summary

Brookhaven Hospice is seeking a Full Time Hospice Aide (CNA) in Westborough, MA to provide compassionate end-of-life care at patients' homes or agreed locations. You will work with our nursing team to address physical, emotional, and personal needs with dignity and respect.

The role requires a CNA certificate, CPR as applicable, and at least one year of CNA experience in acute or long-term care. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current unencumbered CNA certificate in the state.
• Minimum one year of CNA experience in acute or long-term care; hospice experience a plus.
• CPR certification if state-mandated.
• Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care following the plan of care to ensure comfort and well-being of patients.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding and clothing.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service and compassionate, respectful care.
• Support patients' families with guidance and reassurance during end-of-life care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in patient records and agency systems.
