Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a Hospice Aide/Nursing Assistant to provide in-home patient care under RN supervision in the Bedford, TX area. You will help patients stay safe at home, assist with transfers, and monitor health needs while communicating observations to the care team.

Location involves travel to patients' homes with daytime shifts. Requires reading, writing, and reporting skills, plus a valid driver's license and CNA-related training.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma preferred; completion of approved Nurse aide training/competency program or state licensure as applicable.
• Licensure: Must have a current driver's license.
• Experience: At least one year as Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant preferred in healthcare settings or completion of CNA/CHHA programs.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the RN and according to the Plan of Care.
• Assists with safe transfers and ambulation.
• Reports changes and documents care provided to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintains infection control standards and a clean, Safe home environment.
• Communicates with patient/family and other staff respectfully.
• Assists with nutrition and fluid intake as part of care plan.
• Partners with Hospice to support timely care and symptom management.
