Job summary

VitalCaring Group is seeking a compassionate Hospice Aide/CNA to provide end-of-life care in patients' homes in the Madison, MS area. You will deliver personal care, assist with daily activities, and support families with empathy and professionalism.

The role emphasizes comfort, dignity, and family-centered care within a collaborative team that includes RNs, social workers, and chaplains. CPT training and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

Completion of state-required Hospice Aide/CNA training and CPR certification.
Ability to follow care plans and document clearly.
Comfort working with end-of-life patients and families.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel between homes.
Strong empathy and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily living activities.
Support comfort through repositioning and mobility.
Provide light housekeeping to maintain a clean environment.
Offer respite support to caregivers and families.
Observe and report changes to the RN/Case Manager.
