Atrinity Home Health, part of the Optum family, seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver treatment and educate patients under supervision. You will support well-being through planned exercises and instruction in a home health setting.

Responsibilities include following state laws, aiding with mobility and pain relief, documenting responses, coordinating with the care team, and educating patients and families on therapy plans. This role requires a weekend rotation and valid PTA credentials.

Qualifikationen

• Current CPR certification.
• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Aufgaben

• Follow state laws and follow the treatment plan defined by supervising PT; perform only those procedures you are qualified to perform.
• Instructs patients in active and passive exercise, muscle re-education, gait, functional activities, ADL, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment; coordinate care with the health care team.
• Instructs patient, family, caregiver in therapy within the scope of the physical therapy assistant.
