Amedisys is seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our home health team in Oklahoma. This full-time role provides skilled interventions under supervision of an OT, delivering care in patients' homes and documenting visits in accordance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as an occupational therapy assistant.
• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited OTA program.
• Eligible to take NBCOT entry-level examination.
• One year related OTA experience.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled interventions under supervision of an occupational therapist.
• Document visits according to guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Observe and report patient responses and changes to the care team.
• Provide resources for future ADL/IADL needs.
• Promote wellness and occupational engagement.
• Demonstrate knowledge of community resources and services.
• Coordinate follow-up care with the admitting care center.
• Stay updated on OT trends and care coordination.
