Job summary

OneWell Health Care seeks a Personal Attendant to deliver direct, hands-on support to individuals with IDD and Autism in California, in home-based and community settings. You will assist with daily living activities, mobility, medication support, and meals while promoting independence and safety per individualized care plans.

This flexible, field-based role requires endurance, a valid driver’s license, and CPR/First Aid certification (or timeframe to obtain).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred with DSP experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or must be obtained within designated timeframe.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, personal care, and mobility.
• Provide medication assistance as authorized and monitor health changes.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping related to participant care.
• Document daily notes and reports using approved systems.
