Job summary

JEVS Care at Home is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients in daily living per their care plans. You will assist with ADLs and participate in ongoing training, including dementia care and PPE usage, with CPR/First Aid and HIPAA compliance provided.

Applicants must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and CNA certification is a plus. Strong communication and reliability are essential for delivering person-centered home care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to communicate with Client Care Manager.
• Completion of Caregiver Orientation.
• Must pass written exam and orientation with 80% passing score.
• U.S. citizenship or work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of and encourage independent living.
• Complete a competency exam after training and annual recertification.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information per HIPAA regulations.
• Complete instrumental activities of daily living according to the client’s Plan of Care.
