Job summary

JEVS Care at Home seeks compassionate caregivers to assist clients in daily living activities, ensuring safety and independence. Caregivers receive training on ADLs, dementia care, PPE, and HIPAA-compliant practices, supported by a structured orientation and mandatory competency assessments.

Eligible candidates should be 18+, possess a HS diploma or GED, and may have CNA certification. We value reliable communication, adherence to care plans, and commitment to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong communication with Client Care Manager.
• Completion of Caregiver Orientation.
• Must pass orientation exam with at least 80%.

Responsibilities

• Assist the client with daily activities per the care plan.
• Support independence to promote the client’s quality of life.
• Provide training on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and PPE.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information per HIPAA.
• Complete competency examinations after training and orientation and annual recertification.
