Job summary

JEVS Care at Home is seeking a compassionate caregiver in Allentown, PA area to assist clients with daily living per individualized care plans. You will help maintain independence and use PPE as needed, with access to ongoing training including CPR, First Aid, and dementia care.

We require 18+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to follow instructions; CNA preferred but not required. Orientation and competency tests ensure standard regulatory compliance and client safety.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or older.
• A High School diploma or GED is required.
• Certified Nurse Aide Certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to effectively communicate with Client Care Manager.
• Completion of Caregiver Orientation.
• Must satisfactorily complete JEVS Care at Home written exam and orientation program 80% passing score on post-orientation exam.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist the client with daily living as indicated by their care plan.
• Support independence and provide training on ADLs with access to PPE.
• Professional development including CPR, First Aid, and Dementia Training.
• The caregiver will complete competency and annual recertification requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information per HIPAA regulations.
