Job summary

SA Nurses Home Health is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to manage a personal caseload, delivering compassionate in‑home care to patients of all ages. You will work independently, monitor conditions, provide daily living assistance, and educate families to ensure patient comfort and safety.

Requirements include a valid CNA license and ability to document patient status; CPR and TB test may be required. COVID-19 vaccination preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Licensed CNA with current credentials.
• COVID-19 vaccination preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of professional or personal experience supporting individuals with disabilities or challenging behaviors.
• CPR certification
• Two-step TB test

Responsibilities

• Enables patients to stay in their homes by monitoring and recording patient condition, providing support and personal services and teaching families.
• Monitors patient condition by observing physical and mental condition, intake and output and exercise.
• Assists patients by providing personal services, such as dressing, bathing and grooming.
• Helps patients care for themselves by teaching the use of a cane or walker, special utensils to eat, special techniques and equipment for personal hygiene.
• Helps family members care for the patient by teaching appropriate ways to lift, turn, and re-position the patient.
