Job summary

SA Nurses Home Health is expanding our in-home care team in Texas and hiring certified nursing assistants effective immediately. You will manage your own caseload and provide compassionate, one-on-one care to patients in their homes.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, assisting with daily activities, teaching families, and supporting independence. Qualifications: CNA license, High School Diploma or GED, CPR, and COVID-19 vaccination preferred; 2+ years of relevant experience

Certified Nursing Assistant Responsibilities:

• Enables patients to stay in their homes by monitoring and recording patient condition, providing support and personal services and teaching families.
• Monitors patient condition by observing physical and mental condition, intake and output and exercise.
• Assists patients by providing personal services, such as dressing, bathing and grooming.
• Helps patients care for themselves by teaching the use of a cane or walker, special utensils to eat, special techniques and equipment for personal hygiene.
• Helps family members care for the patient by teaching appropriate ways to lift, turn, and re-position the patient.
