SA Nurses Home Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home care to patients of all ages in the San Antonio area. You will manage your own caseload, monitor patients, and deliver compassionate personal care with independence.

The role requires CNA certification, CPR, and ability to teach families and patients. Experience with disabilities or challenging behaviors is preferred; vaccination and TB testing are noted as requirements/precautions.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Licensed CNA with current certification.
• CPR certification required.
• Two-step TB test required.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and record patient condition; provide support and personal services; educate families.
• Observe patient condition, intake/outtake, and exercise.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, and grooming.
• Teach use of cane/walker and other assistive devices.
• Instruct family on safe patient handling and repositioning.

Certified Nursing Assistant Responsibilities

• Enables patients to stay in their homes by monitoring and recording patient condition, providing support and personal services and teaching families.
• Monitors patient condition by observing physical and mental condition, intake and output and exercise.
• Assists patients by providing personal services, such as dressing, bathing and grooming.
• Helps patients care for themselves by teaching the use of a cane or walker, special utensils to eat, special techniques and equipment for personal hygiene.
• Helps family members care for the patient by teaching appropriate ways to lift, turn, and re-position the patient.

Education, Experience And Licensing Requirements

• Minimum 2 year+ professional or personal experience supporting individuals with disabilities, mental health illnesses or challenging behaviors preferred
• CPR
• 2 step TB Test

Salary: $20 per visit
