Job summary

Valley Home Care is seeking a compassionate Female Home Health Aide with a car to support clients in their homes in Luzerne County, including Pittston. Experience in patient care is valued but not required, and the right attitude matters most.

You will assist with ADLs, provide companionship, monitor changes, help with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts, and perform light housekeeping. Weekly pay and flexible schedules are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient care is helpful but not required.
• Able to follow directions and maintain client safety.
• No certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support to create a positive and respectful environment
• Monitor and report any changes in a client’s condition or behavior
• Assist with mobility, including use of equipment such as Hoyer lifts when needed
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and general cleaning
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines when handling client information
