Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Certification as Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide preferred.
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• First Aid and CPR certifications are preferred.
• Knowledge of safe lifting techniques and body mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming and dressing.
• Support mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when required.
• Remind and monitor medication adherence.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe home.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor client health and report changes to the team.
• Document services and client progress accurately.
• Follow care plans and assist with therapy exercises as directed.
