Job summary

PurposeCare is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to support clients in their homes across Martinsburg and surrounding areas. You will provide personal care, assist with daily living tasks, and ensure safety and comfort on every visit.

Ideal candidates are reliable, patient, and able to follow care plans and document activities. Active HHA/CNA certification is preferred, with willingness to obtain certification if needed.

Qualifications

• Must have active HHA or CNA certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to follow written care instructions and document services.
• Compassion, patience, and professionalism with vulnerable populations.
• Ability to work independently in home settings.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes.
• Willingness to complete TB testing, background screening, and onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, and toileting
• Assist with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and range-of-motion exercises per care plan
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Support medication self-administration through reminders (no independent med administration)
• Monitor and report patient condition and changes to the supervising nurse
• Document care provided according to company and regulatory standards
• Travel reliably to patient homes and assigned visits across your service area
