Job summary

Roadrunner Home Health is looking for a compassionate caregiver to support clients in their homes. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help maintain safety and comfort for elderly individuals, people with disabilities, or those recovering from surgery.

Successful candidates will have reliable, empathetic communication, ability to perform physical tasks, and a HS diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving or healthcare experience is preferred.
• Strong communication with empathy.
• Health and safety guidelines knowledge.
• Ability to lift and assist mobility.
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding.
• Administer medications and assist with mobility.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Monitor health conditions and report concerns.
• Assist with mobility and exercises as needed.
• Ensure the client's home is safe and comfortable.
• Maintain records of client progress.
