Job summary

ROADRUNER HOME HEALTH LLC seeks compassionate caregivers to support clients in their homes across New Mexico. You will assist with daily living activities, ensure safety and comfort, and provide both physical and emotional support to elderly clients, individuals with disabilities, and those recovering from illness.

No healthcare degree required; reliable, patient individuals with good communication and a willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid will thrive.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving or healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication and a compassionate, patient approach.
• Basic understanding of health and safety guidelines.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting.
• Dependable, punctual and trustworthy.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Administer medications as directed and support mobility or transfers.
• Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, cleaning, and home organization.
• Monitor and document changes in clients’ health or behavior and report concerns to healthcare professionals.
• Assist with mobility exercises or physical activity.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
• Keep accurate records of client activities, progress, and care provided.
