The Lakes Home Care, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to assist patients in their homes according to an established care plan. You will help with daily living activities, personal care, and safety, and report changes to the supervising nurse.

Responsibilities include assisting with baths, feeding, temps and vital signs when ordered, safe transfers, ROM exercises, and home safety observations. Compliance with Maxim training is required.

Qualifications

• Meets state and federal training requirements when applicable.
• Able to read, follow written instructions and document care.
• CPR certification current and valid.
• PPD or chest X-ray clearance if applicable.
• Successful completion of Maxim screening examinations.
• Participation in Maxim competency program.

Responsabilités

• Assist patients with daily living activities per plan of care.
• Provide baths, oral care, dressing, toileting and feeding as ordered.
• Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure when ordered.
• Ensure safe transfers and ambulation; assist with ROM as directed.
• Perform extensional therapy as ordered with competency.
• Handle patient laundry and maintain safety practices at home.
• Observe, document patient condition and report changes to nurse.
